I Had Odd Tingling in My Fingers

I told my doctor about the tingling in my fingers, and he told me that it was just a result of nerve damage from my diabetes. I have had neuropathy for years, and this just felt different to me. I didn’t challenge him though because he went to school for a lot more years than I did. What I was not figuring into that train of logic though was that I know my body better than anyone, and this just did not feel right to me. I ended up going to a Sacramento chiropractor after I started researching tingling sensations in people.

I found out that there are actually a lot of things that can cause this kind of sensation, and it irked me that my doctor just discounted it. I knew I would deal with that later, but I wanted to get help with this tingling sensation first. Most everything I read online stated that a lot of people went to a chiropractor to get help with this. I have been to a lot of doctors because of my health issues, but that was one I had never seen before. After visiting the one I did, I saw what a mistake this was on my part in not having him as part of my health team starting years ago.

He did an exam on me, and he had some tests done as well. Because I do have some other things going on, he wanted to get a very clear picture of what this could be. After getting all the test results back, he determined that this was actually a simple fix. He explained about the nerves that go into my hands, and how they can be compromised if there is too much pressure put on them. He was able to address that one issue, and the tingling instantly went away. I go to him regularly now for my other health issues as well, and I am feeling much better all the way around.
